Instructions

  • Type in abbreviations for players names, or any substring of the first name, followed by a space, followed by any substring of the last name.
    For example "ST" gives Siri, so does "S Till" and so does "iri illeker"
  • Once the system recognizes the name, you don't need to type any more letters
  • Please enter all BYES. Just type 'B' in for the score to indicate a BYE
  • The round number is usually 1,2,3
  • The group is 1 for the top group, 2 for the next group, etc.
  • Use TAB to move between fields
  • Use ENTER to submit the game result
  • In case the system has trouble telling you're adding a new person, use an asterisk, '*', as the first character
  • Click the CLOSE button to make the bottom frame disappear when you are done with data entry
  • WARNING: if you tab too quickly, then one of your keystrokes might get missed. A very brief pause, even a fraction of a second before hitting tab, helps keep the user interface consistent. This is a javascript problem and javascript is needed to do auto completion on player names.
