Out of Town Results Added

After 11 months of neglect, the Out of Town Results Archive has finally been updated! I may not have got every tournament between last September and now, so if you know of an event that at least one Calgary player attended please let me know. Also if anybody can fill in any missing prize information that would help too.

Not only have the out of town results been updated, but I have reaffirmed my commitment to them by writing a program to make the job MUCH EASIER. I no longer have to tediously hand-code the HTML tables, which is what kept me from updating the results. It got to the point where I was seriously thinking of abandoning this section once again, but when I took one last look I realized, "Writing a program for this shouldn't be too hard!" So I sat down and did everything in one night, and now I should be able to add results on a regular basis. Remember, however, that not all out of town results are available right away so it make take up to six weeks for results to be posted here.

The timing of this update isn't a coincidence, either. We've got a dozen members off at the massive National Scrabble® Championship in Providence, RI which wraps up today, and I want to make sure their peformances get archived right away. I will have the full results up by tomorrow. No news item will be posted unless somebody does something noteworthy. Of course, if you don't want to wait you can go to the NSA Web Site and have a look at the results yourself. We have players in divisions 1, 2, and 3.
