NewsScrabble® SchoolPosted by Paul S on Sun July 22, 2001 at 0h00Director Randall Thomas
has started a Scrabble®
School. This is a series of weekly short tutorials that are conducted
prior to our regular Thursday night club
meetings. The school begins at 6:30pm and runs until about 6:50.
Each tutorial has a concentrated focus on a different aspect of the
Scrabble® game. Everything from the basics (e.g. twos & threes) to
elementary strategy (e.g. rack management) right up to advanced topics (e.g.
endgame) will be covered. Participant-suggested topics are also welcome.
There is a new subsection on this site for Scrabble® School, linked
above. Right now you can find a schedule of topics. In the near future, the
notes from each night's lesson will be linked, allowing those who couldn't make
it to benefit. If you're looking to improve your game, this is where you
should go!
