For those that arrive at the regular noon time, you can still get paired for the last 3 rounds. Especially if it helps keep the numbers even! If not, at least there are still less byes overall.
(Players who arrive late, can be awarded 0.0, 0.5, or 1.0 out of 2.0 for pairing purposes, at the director's discretion. This ensures pairings are between evenly matched opponents as much as possible.)
