Since the turnout for the QT tournament was quite low, and we have the hall booked anyway - we wanted to have a tournament. It is too late for it to be rated by NASPA as a ORT (regular ratings) but it will be a Local Club Tournament (LCT), where the rating changes are 1/3 of what they would otherwise be.

Note: In the event that a tournament is cancelled, it may be preferrable to change the name from 'Winter Tournament' to 'Winter Tournament - cancelled' and post some info as to why an event is cancelled. If an event is deleted instead, people may assume it is still happening but it is just not listed on the website. So please be sure you really want to delete this tournament. You cannot recover it later.
Also, please do not delete past tournaments. It is very useful for players and future organizers to do planning based on previous years' schedules. Tournament entries should never be deleted just because a tournament has happened. They should only be deleted if an erroneous touranent was posted that never should have been posted in the first place.
