ResourcesClub Ladder SimulationOverviewThe club ladder system starts off as a sequential list of players with the highest rated at the top. The top four players form a group, the next four form a group, and so on. Players that win most of their games move up, and players that lose most of their games move down. This leads to a system where players of like abilities generally play each other, yet with quite a bit of variety of opponents as well. Only players that show up in a given night will have the opportunity to move to a different rung; existing players hold their spots for a given time (approx 6 months). The club ladder system organizes players into four player groups. At the end of the night, the players are sorted by number of wins, and with cumulative spread as a tiebreaker. The top two players in a group swap places with the bottom two players in the next highest group above them. Thus finishing in the top two in your group generally means you'll player stronger opponents next week. And finishing in the bottom two of your group generally means you'll play slightly easier opponents next week. Ladder SimulationMembersFor our mock session, the club members are as follows.
