Volunteer Opening - future of Sunday Scrabble

We are looking for volunteers interested in coordinating the Sunday Scrabble sessions at WHGG. The duties are pretty simple and straightforward, and there is no reason they couldn't be shared by a few dedicated persons. Without volunteers, we may need to consider cancelling Sunday Scrabble at WHGG in the future, perhaps in July or August. Please send an email to Juraj, Randall, Siri or Jason if you are interested in keeping Sunday Scrabble alive and what role you can play.

Duties for Sunday Scrabble Coordinator

1. Email attendants about closures or schedule changes.
2. Email attendants about the results
3. Update the website with the Sunday points.
4. Ensure there will be enough equipment present
5. Bring the key.  Make sure Thursday people have the key for next week.  Make sure you have it for next Sunday.
6. Show up early so people aren't waiting outside.
7. Manage admission collections at the door.
8. Make sure there is coffee on.
9. Make sure pairings are done fairly and promptly, adhering to pairing rules.
10. Manage byes, mitigating complaints.
