Posted by Paul S on Sun June 03, 2001 at 0h00The Ladder Archive is complete up to the end of the old book (Nov. 23, 2000). However, the thing I've dreaded ever since I started the new ladder archive has finally happened: Sheets from two of the club weeks have gone missing! Because each week of the ladder is so dependent on the previous one, this is going to complicate things.
I'm still trying to decide what to do. The mostly likely thing is that I will simply leave out the two missing weeks, force a manual update of the ladder positions, and continue on. It irks the heck out of me to have missing results, but I don't want to throw away a lot of work because of just two weeks. Also, should the sheets be found soon I can go back and put them in without much trouble. At any rate, the missing sheets are for late January so I've still got two months to input before I get to them. When I do, I'll post my decision.
