Early Bird Results
Posted by Paul S on Fri October 12, 2001 at 0h00The 2001 WCC Early Bird results are online. It was the best-ever early bird attendance-wise, with 44 players competing. It was not a good tournament for Calgary players, however, as the results show. However, it also mean we had lots of out of town players and that's good to see!
The cash prizes aren't available as I left the sheet at the tournament. I'll update the results page with them tomorrow or Sunday.
As a bonus, here are the leaders of the main tournament after 4 rounds: Division 1 - Ira Cohen 4-0 +451, George MacAulay 4-0 +412, Albert Hahn 4-0 +68, 5 at 3 wins. Division 2 - Yvonne Lewanski 3-1 +323, Nancy Scott 3-1 +239, Eugenio Ngan-Tian 3-1 +228, 2 others with 3 wins. Division 3 - Jason Guillery 3-1 +306, Lesley Douch 3-1 +271, Geraldine Ridge 3-1 +207, 5 others with 3 wins. Division 4 - Anna-Marie Cook 4-0 +393, Steven Faust 4-0 +356, Terri Morigeau 4-0 +247, 4 at 3 wins.
