Thomas, McGrath, and Faust win Marathon

The 8th Annual November Marathon took place on Saturday Nov 26th, with 28 players at the Sierras of Heritage in Calgary. The marathon is so named because it has more games per day than any other tournament in North America.

In the top division, with 8 players, Randall Thomas finished first with 9/12 +461, a full two games ahead of everyone else. In Division 2, with only 6 players, Wendy McGrath won with 8/12 +525, beating Brian Guilbault on the spread by 216. Finally in Division 3, Steven Faust finished with a decisive 10/12 +593.

In memory of Aubrey Matthews and Michel Demers, the highest scoring plays starting with A and M were awarded a small cash prize as well.
