NewsScrabble Dinner ReminderPosted by Juraj P on Fri April 28, 2006 at 21h36The Calgary Scrabble Group's Annual Dinner and prize presentations will be held on Saturday, April 29 at Shaw-Nee Slopes Golf Course starting at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $20 and includes salad, a hot chicken dish, dessert and coffee, tax and gratuity. Spouses and significant others are most welcome.
The location should be easy for everyone to get to. If you're driving, go south on Macleod, right on James McKevitt (this is just past Canyon Meadows/Bannister Road), through the traffic lights and up the hill -- just on your right!
If you are taking the C-Train, then get off at Fish Creek / Lacombe station. Go to the front of the train, walk through the parking lot, make a left once you reach the street, then at the intersection, turn right and walk up the hill. The golf course is on your right. (about a 5 minute walk).
