NewsOnline Scrabble on TuesdaysPosted by Juraj on Sun October 03, 2021 at 11h18I hope this won't interfere with speed-scrabble we used to have on Tuesdays, but starting this week we'll have an online weekly scrabble session on ISC + Discord. This is for those that cannot come play Scrabble on Thursdays and Sundays at WHGG, or those who would rather join us only online.
A while back we used to have an "expert night" for higher rated players to get in extra practice. Over time, all were invited and it became an extra session with a good chance to face some stronger opponents - a great venue for improvement for those that sought it. Our Tuesday session may also be thought of in this vein. Everyone is welcome.
Time: Tuesdays, 6:45pm
Format: Three games
Pairings: Round one will be purely at random. Then game two and three will be KOTH.
Time Control: 35/0 on ISC, where penalties accrue after 25m.
Wayne, Maureen, Jason, Juraj, Siri have expressed an interest so far - to get a sense of who's coming. See you on Tuesday.
