Standings after 8 rounds

Here are the standings after 8 rounds, and the pairings for the next two.

The first leg was 8 rounds, everyone was guaranteed 8 distinct opponents. The next leg is 5 rounds, and everyone will get 5 distinct opponents, but they may overlap with the first 8 opponents. Finally, last round is king-of-the-hill and you may face an opponent for the third time and final time.

The pairings for the last four rounds will be done based on knowing all the results, please get your slips in promptly.

I was unclear about the category prizes but we have budgeted for a $5 prize for BOTH the U1300 group and the OPEN division.

2. Living on the Edge (LOTE) - three closes wins*
3. Best Legal Word (we vote for it)
4. Most Outrageous Phoney (we vote for it)
